Martina Johnson Pokorná

In my work I focus mainly on the evolution of sex determination, the identification and evolution of sex chromosomes and the evolution of genome organisation. My interest group is vertebrates, especially reptiles and birds. For this research I use a combination of genomics and molecular cytogenetic methods.

I lecture the Genome Evolution course for the Faculty of Science, Charles University.
